Matagorda Bay Field Study June 30 - July 3, 1993

This directory and its subdirectories contain acoustic doppler
current profiler (ADCP) data gathered in the intensive inflow
survey in Matagorda Bay by the Texas Water Development Board in
conjunction with the United States Geological Survey, the Texas
Parks and Wildlife Department, the Lower Colorado River Authority,
and the Texas Water Commission.

A unique aspect of this field study was the collection of flow
data with an automated instrument.  Flow data collected at Site 1,
Matagorda EntranceChannel, with an Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler
(ADCP) manufactured by RD Instruments.  These flow data are stored
in subdirectory /ADCP/Summary93 in file flow.matagorda93.

The subdirectory entitled Summary93 contains a summary
the ADCP runs.  Inside the Summary93 directory is a
file corresponding to the ADCP site.

File flow.matagorda93 contains flow data for the site and includes
station number, date (yy,mm,dd), time (hh,mm), and flow in cfs.
Flows here do not include edge estimates.
The Fortran format for reading this data is:
